This recipe is a famous Filipino dish, when there’s an occasion, get together or even just a simple dinner. It’s up to you what you would like.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken
- 2tbsp fish sauce
- 1 1/2 sugar
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 medium size carrots
- 3 medium size potatoes
- 1 medium size onion chopped
- 1 medium size tomato
- 2 tsp garlic minced
- 1/8 cup frozen bell pepper
- 1/2 salt
- 5-6 Dried bay leaves
- 1 cup water or chicken broth
- 1 Can tomato sauce 8 oz
- Marinade the chicken with lemon, soy sauce, fish sauce, pepper, and sugar.Mix them well, let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Heat the oil, saute the onion, garlic and tomato.
- Put the chicken in and saute it for 7 minutes in high heat.
- Turn the heat to medium and let it soak in the broth.
- Pour in the water or chicken broth, turn the heat up to high, put the top on and let it boil.
- Put tomato sauce, turn the heat down to medium and put the top on. Wait until it starts boiling.
- Put the dried leaves in, and let it continue simmering.
- Check to see if the chicken is soft and add the carrots and potatoes, then add the salt. (You can add more water if you want to, I added 2/3 cup water)
- Let it continue simmering.
- Check to see if the carrots and potatoes are soft enough.
- Add the green peas and bell peppers, cook it for 5 more minutes.
